It is not known when chaoyang Temple was founded. According to the stone tablet in the temple, it is recorded in the 28th year of Jiajing of Ming Dynasty (1549), the 2nd year of Longqing (1568), the 4th year of Wanli (1576), the 8th year of Longqing (1580) and the 13th year of Wanli (1585), the 5th year of Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1666), the 47th year of Qianlong (1782) and the 13th year of Guangxu (1887). Sitting west to east, the layout of the courtyard, from west to east for the main hall, hall, on both sides of the east and west side hall, east and west wing, monk room, is yonghe County Buddhism gathering place.
