The Army-Returning Memory Tower

It is located in the west of Yujiazui Village, Qiankunwan Township. It was built for the sake to commemorate the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army's returning west to the ferry. It is 14 meters high and covers an area of 150 square meters. It is simple but majestic, looking like a blockhouse, being built with flagstones. The first to third floors are exhibition halls, and the fourth floor is an observatory. When standing on the tower and looking far into the distance, the visitors would see the rivers and mountains both in Shaanxi and Shanxi Province, and feel the long and interesting history therein.
