It is located at the halfway up a hill in the west of Yujiazui Village, Qiankunwan Township. From the end of April to the beginning of May, 1936, the east-expedition advance troops of the First Legion of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army took the lead in stationing at Yujiazui Village. In order to solve the difficulties for the troops and local people to drink water, they surveyed and dug the well to get and store water. The well has been used until the present. For the sake of expressing their gratitude to the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army, the villagers called it as the "Red Army Well". After further reconstruction, the "Red Army Well" became one of typical red tourism spots.
